Free Speech and Political Correctness in Academia

What is free address? What comes to mind when we say those two small words? To many, the right of free address is the paramount right afforded to us in the Bill of Rights. Without free address many of the basic renters of society that we hold beloved would non be possible. But today in colleges and universities across the state, free address is under onslaught beneath the streamer of political rightness. In an attempt to be politically right, college campuses, long thought to be a topographic point for the free treatment of ideas and thoughts, are going a topographic point where free idea has been replaced with a rigorous attachment to doctrine and political orientation.
