Now we are trying to represent the two companies’ stock analysis of last five years. One is ‘Pubali Bank Ltd’ and another is ‘The City Bank Ltd’.

Here we will show the status of the company in stock market and which company is giving the highest return to their shareholders. Origin of the Report This term paper report entitled “Two company’s security analysis for last five years” has recommended our course teacher Prof. Salahuddin Ahmed Khan. He has recommended completing the term paper report two months ago. We are trying to fulfill his requirements and we hope that we will be successful in this mission. Pubali Bank Ltd: Pubali Bank Ltd is largest commercial Bank in private sector in Bangladesh. It provides mass banking services to the customers through its branch network all over the country. This Bank has been playing a vital role in socio-economic, industrial and agricultural development as well as in the overall economic development of the country since its inception through savings mobilization and investment of funds. During the last five years the growth rate of bank’s earnings is more than 25% on average. The City Bank Ltd: City Bank is one of the oldest private commercial Banks operating in Bangladesh.

It is top bank among the oldest five commercial banks in the country which started their operation in 1983. The bank started their operation on 27 March 1983 through opening its first branch at BB Avenue branch in the capital, Dhaka city. It was the visionary entrepreneurship of around 13 local businessman who braved the immense uncertainties and risks with courage and zeal that made the establishment and forward march of the bank possible. Those sponsor directors commenced the journey with only Taka 3. 4 crore worth of capital, which now is a respectable taka 330. 77 crore as capital & reserve.
